RAMAZAN, MOSQUE AND COVID19!!!

And here we go with another conflict between the government and our scholars!

As we know our country is facing a lockdown because of COIVD-19 breakdown and this pandemic has caused much more than we had thought but the most difficult thing right now for us is to stay at home and stop the spread of the CORONAVIRUS to retain the safety of the citizens of Pakistan. The government of Pakistan implemented a lockdown in the country on March 22nd. After this implementation, the extremists are blaming the government on closing the doors of MOSQUES for the Muslims.

But thing went out of hand when the government published a notification about ceasing NAMAZ the mosques in RAMADHAN, Suspending TARAWEEH in Ramadhan. Now Islamic Scholars of Pakistan have come forward with a demand to open the doors of mosques for the people of Pakistan and letting people pray TARAWEEH in the Holy month of Ramadhan Mufti Muneeb said that:

"All prayers including daily prayers, Friday prayers, and Taraaweeh will be offered in congregation.

However, he urged the elderly and sick people to avoid coming to mosques

He also demanded that bills of mosques and religious institutions should be forgiven and urged the state to help and support Muslims all over the country

 Mufti Taqi Usmani said that:
"The entire nation should unite to play its role and announced that mosques will remain open with precautionary measures. Carpets should be removed from mosques and sanitizers should be placed on the entrance of mosques. He also advised people to keep distance between rows."
