Shame on telecom sector!
Why?
People all
over the country are demanding free
telecom services in this pandemic situation but the thing is why are they
demanding this?
Twitter got
crowded when the news came out that UAE, Iran and some other countries telecom
providers where giving free telecom services to the people in this pandemic.
Iran is
thinking of giving 100gb free internet to the users to keep them in their
houses.
Dubai is
also offering free internet service for families for distance learning.
People are
just furious about how other telecom providers are offering these facilities and
telecom providers in Pakistan are just making money during this pandemic.
People are
criticizing the telecom providers for
their behavior and on the other hand demanding the same facilities in
Pakistan.
Pakistan telecom
providers yet have not replied to this but we hope they will soon. At least for
distance learning.
